You must have heared it before about the research of material that can be used to hide objects but never before got the evidence of the presence of that material. Well, the good news is that the new research confirms that invisibility is indeed possible. Recently i have heared about a most amazing new developed material, which is supposed to be a ‘Invisibility cloak’. The company, HyperStealth Biotechnology Corporation, a Canadian manufacturer of military camouflage uniforms, has introduced this material called Quantum Stealth and claimed to have the ability to disguises a military’s soldiers or even its tanks, aircraft, and ships. This material is currently still in the prototyping stage. The material is able to hide objects placed behind it at a required distance. The object can be any material and any object. Actually, the reason we can see objects is because light reflects from them or because light is modified in some way travelling through them. To become invisible, an object has to be able to bend light around itself, so that it casts no shadow, and it must produce no reflection. But yet, it is impossible, so if you want to make an object disappear, you have to put special sheet of lens before it that will bend the light to not let the object reflect it. Theoretically, the new material also works in the same way by bending light waves around a target which makes the object completely disappear. The material not only removes your visual, but also removes the target’s shadow. This patent-pending technology is expected to be released to the public in the coming months.
